Description: Displays a weather radar for your location.
Refresh Rate: 10 minutes
Parameters: * indicates default value
altzipcode: Enter an alternate zipcode to use for the forecast. Your receiver automatically passes it’s zipcode to this app. This value will override what DirecTv is sending it. Default is 00000.
Crop: Because the image from NOAA is too big for the App, select which area of the image you want to see. Default is 5 (dead center)

showlegend: Select if you want to show the legend.
shownames: Select if you want to show the city and town names.
showroads: Select if you want to show the roads.
type: Select one of the following radar types
- Base Reflectivity
- Storm Relative Motion
- Base Velocity
- Base Reflectivity (Long Range)
- One-Hour Precipitation
- Composite Reflectivity
- Storm Total Precipitation
Loc: Radar Location
Use the three-letter radar code. Some radar sites are listed more than once due to it’s location (ie dix)
If you do not enter a radar location, the App will use your receiver’s zipcode and display the radar for that zipcode. Please erase any default value in this parameter if you want to use the zipcode. Default is 000.

Please add a way to position and size the radar image so that it can be placed in the corner of the main live tv picture at all times.

This is a great tool! I will be sure to give it a try, and let you know how it is working. I think the radar is really the best way to know what is happening at the moment, and especially when hail and strong rain is coming. We usually get busy with radar more in the summer, because in the winter, it is just snow mostly.

Love the radar but I don’t know what I am looking at I don’t know how to find out which radar I want up? What is Base Reflectivity as opposed to Storm Relative Motion? How do I find that out?
