Title: Weather Forecast from NOAA v2 (This version is still pending DirecTv approval.)
Description: Shows your local forecast. Three different types of forecast views can be chosen via pseudo buttons.

*images displayed here do not match exactly. First one taken before Alert button was added.
Refresh Rate: 10 minutes
Parameters: * indicates default value
altzipcode: Enter an alternate zipcode to use for the forecast. Your receiver automatically passes it’s zipcode to this app. This value will override what DirecTv is sending it.

I added this App from DirecTV. Unfortunately the different types of forecast views will not work. Or I just haven’t found the button on the remote to control ‘em.

DirecTv still hasn’t activated this 2.0 version yet since last year. They mentioned that they needed to enhance The Weather Channel’s App first before they can approve of mine.
Not idea why it would take this long for them to do it.
If it ever gets activated, you use the arrow keys on your remote to highlight one of the top choices and press the select button.
Until then, we are stuck with the 7 day view only.

I miss your app and if DTV does not do something to get it back on the apps I won’t be using any of them. TWC 5 day forecast sucks.

I meant to say both of the apps. The Radar was awesome. I watched it a few months til I finally tweaked it to the right position. Have been using it for almost 2 years. Thanks.
